Field Trips
National Museum of Natural History
Date: April, 2017
Estimated Cost: $22, each student will be allowed to bring a chaperone
Every year this field trip is a highlight for our students and their families. To provide all students the opportunity to attend one field trip with their parent, we typically order enough buses so that each class has their own. This allows us to bring as many chaperones as students. Please click the link above to learn more about the current exhibits featured at the museum.

CHESPAX Field Trip:
Date: January 19th
Cost: FREE, each class will be allowed to bring four chaperones
Each year students in Calvert County have the chance to learn more about the environment, because of the CHESPAX program. Our 2nd grade program focuses on natural resources. Students will visit the Appeal Landfill and Annemarie Gardens. Students will learn where all the garbage goes and why they should reduce, reuse, and recycle. At Annemarie Gardens, students will take part in hands-on art projects that are centered around conserving resources.
